Keyd Stars and Vox Eminor have been invited to compete at ESWC Montreal, the French organisation has revealed.
The Brazilian team will represent South America at the Canadian event, while Vox Eminor take the slot that was reserved for Asia and Oceania, with both sides being selected because of their results "in past local and international tournaments".
This will be the first ESWC event for the Australian side, who recently gave a good account of themselves at Gfinity Masters, taking maps off fnatic and NiP, and beating Liquid 2-0.
FalleN's Keyd Stars to attend ESWC Montreal
As for Keyd Stars, the Brazilian team, who recently moved to Los Angeles to compete in the ESL ESEA Pro League, attended last year's ESWC event as KaBuM.TD, finishing fifth in their group, with one victory from five matches.
"We are really excited about representing our country once again at ESWC," said Gabriel "FalleN" Sguario.
"The tournament is always great and we hope to perform ever better than our last participation. Thanks for the opportunity!"
